Mathilde
Mathilde is a line of French fruit liqueurs made by Maison Ferrand, the Cognac house behind Pierre Ferrand. The fruit liqueurs are 16% to 18% ABV, and Mathilde Orange XO is an 80 proof orange liqueur blended with aged Cognac. The Liquor Barn carries Mathilde Cassis, Pear, Pêche, Framboise and Orange XO, all in 750ML.
Cassis is a black currant liqueur and the classic choice for a Kir or Kir Royale with white wine or Champagne. Pear, Pêche (peach) and Framboise (raspberry) taste of ripe fruit and work in spritzes, sparkling wine cocktails or poured over fruit and ice cream. Orange XO is the richest of the five: use it in a Sidecar or Margarita as a step up from triple sec, or sip it after dinner.
