Don Julio is a 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila from the highlands of Atotonilco el Alto in Jalisco, Mexico, named for Don Julio González, who began making tequila in 1942. Its tequilas are bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). The Liquor Barn stocks Don Julio 1942 in 50ML, a 375ML 2 pack, 750ML and 1.75L, Don Julio Blanco, Reposado and Añejo in 375ML, 750ML and 1.75L, and Don Julio 70 Cristalino Añejo.

Don Julio 1942 is an añejo aged at least two and a half years in American oak, and it is the bottle people reach for as a gift or a celebration pour. Blanco is crisp and peppery for margaritas, Reposado rests about eight months in oak, and Añejo about 18 months. Don Julio 70 is an añejo filtered clear, so it drinks smooth with the look of a blanco. We also carry limited 1942 editions, such as the Year of the Horse and FIFA World Cup bottles, while they last.
