Deep ruby. Intense, spice-tinged cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by notes of mocha, anise, underbruch and potpourri. Offers palate-staining red and dark berry flavors and suggestions of candied rose and spicecake, with a hint of vanilla bean adding sweetness. Seamless in texture and quite lively for its power, finishing with superb clarity and length and supple tannins that add shape to the wine's energetic berry fruit and floral qualities.
