Normandin Mercier Pineau des Charentes Rouge 750ML

Characteristic: Fruitier than the white with a greedy note of pits of cherry. Assembly of two thirds of white grape freshly pressed and very mature (Merlot) with a third of one year Cognac, the whole aged in oak cask. It is only at the end of this period that we obtain Pineau of the Charente carefully married.

Normandin Mercier Pineau des Charentes Rouge

Delightfully young, surprisingly refined… this aperitif wine presents a bouquet of fresh berries and ripened cherry… with the latter having developed absolutely delicious notes of jam and macerated cherry. The color is crystal clear ruby, light and pure. The acidity is reserved and does not interfere with the flavour profile at all. Body is full and luxurious… soft on the tongue; tannins are low and sip to sip is fresh and clean on the palate… an absolutely splendid pour.
