Espolon Tequila Flight

The Espolon Tequila Flight is the full aging ladder from one distillery, San Nicolas in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco. Same 100% blue Weber agave, same stills, three different times in oak. It is the best-value way to learn the difference between blanco, reposado and anejo.

What's in the set

• Espolon Blanco 750ML (80 proof): unaged. Cooked agave, pepper, citrus. The margarita and paloma workhorse.
• Espolon Reposado 750ML (80 proof): rested in American oak. Softer, with vanilla and a touch of caramel over the agave.
• Espolon Anejo 750ML (80 proof): aged over a year, finished in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. Toffee, baking spice, a sipping tequila.

How to taste it

Blanco first, neat, at room temperature. Then reposado, then anejo. Everything that changes is the barrel.
