The Chicago Handshake Kit is the city's unofficial official drink order: a shot of Jeppson's Malort chased with a can of Old Style. One is a bracingly bitter wormwood liqueur that Chicagoans have been daring each other to drink since the 1930s. The other is the lager that fueled Wrigley Field for decades. Together they are a rite of passage.
