Baldoria Bitter Vermouth

Aromas and flavors reminiscent of traditional orange bitters, juxtaposed with the grassy, herbal bitterness of mate tea. While vermouth is itself bitter, and while “bitter” vermouth is a common category, Baldoria chose to reconsider “bitter.” To maintain the Baldoria framework, we opted for a more floral earthy bitter that plays well with the classic wormwood base. Enter yerba mate tea. The beautiful flavor plays well without hiding in the background or stealing the spotlight. A more assertive, slightly sweeter riff on the Baldoria Dry, to be sipped on its own over ice; mixed with tonic; or incorporated into classic drinks such as the Americano or Negroni.
