Napa Crest is a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend that draws on six vineyard sites across Napa County, including St. Helena and Oakville on the valley floor and cooler Coombsville. Blending across sites gives the wine both ripe dark fruit and structure. The 2015 vintage has had several years in bottle, so it is drinking with more softness and depth than a young release.
Decant it for 30 minutes and serve with steak, lamb, short ribs or aged cheeses. It is also a great gift for a basketball fan who loves Napa Cabernet.
