Vallet is a Mexican producer of herbal bitter liqueurs. The Liquor Barn carries all three Vallet bottlings in 750ml: Fernet Vallet, a 35% ABV fernet; Amargo Vallet, a 45% ABV (90 proof) herbal bitter made with angostura bark; and Granada Vallet, a 32% ABV aperitivo built on pomegranate and gentian root.
Fernet Vallet is dark, bitter and minty-herbal, in the same family as Italian fernets, and works as an after-dinner shot or with cola. Amargo Vallet is a strong, spiced bitter that bartenders use like a bitters base or a bold amaro in stirred drinks.
