Tsantali

Tsantali is a Greek winery from northern Greece, run by Evangelos Tsantalis S.A., making wine from native Greek grapes and international varieties. Most bottles are 12% to 13.5% ABV. The Liquor Barn carries Tsantali Rouge D'Estelle, Makedonikos White, Mono Moschofilero, Blanc D'Estelle, Agiorgitiko White and Kanenas Rose in 750ml, and lists Kanenas Red and White, Rose D'Estelle and Mavrodaphne.

The D'Estelle wines are easy everyday bottles: Rouge blends Xinomavro and Moschomavro, Blanc is a dry Sauvignon Blanc from Halkidiki, and Rose is made from Roditis. Makedonikos White is a dry Athiri and Rhoditis blend from Macedonia. Mono Moschofilero is 100% Moschofilero from high-altitude Mantineia, floral and crisp. The Kanenas Red and Rose from Thrace blend Mavroudi with Syrah, and the Kanenas White from Halkidiki blends Chardonnay with Muscat. Agiorgitiko White is an unusual blanc de noir from a red grape.
