Single Barrel Bourbon

Most bourbon is a blend: dozens or hundreds of barrels married together for a consistent house flavor. A single barrel release skips the blending. Where that barrel sat in the warehouse, how hot it got, and how long it aged all show up in the glass, so two bottles of the same brand from different barrels can drink very differently.

That variation is the fun of it.
