Herbsaint Liqueur is an anise-flavoured American-made version of pastis. It is made in New Orleans. It is clear greenish-ambor colour that you can see right through, though it turns cloudy in water. It is not as sweet as Pernod. Made by the Sazerac company, it is officially refered to as Liqueur d'Anis.
