Great Lakes Brewing

Great Lakes Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Cleveland, Ohio, founded in 1988. It is best known for Christmas Ale, a 7.5% ABV holiday ale brewed with honey, fresh ginger and cinnamon, and for year-round classics like Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Eliot Ness amber lager. The Liquor Barn carries Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, Eliot Ness, Dortmunder Gold and Great Lakes seasonal 6Pks and 12Pks.

Dortmunder Gold (5.8% ABV) is a smooth, malty export lager and the easiest place to start. Eliot Ness (6.2% ABV) is a toasty Vienna-style amber lager, and Edmund Fitzgerald (6.0% ABV) is a roasty, coffee-tinged porter. When the season comes, Christmas Ale arrives in 6Pk bottles, 6Pk cans and 12Pks and sells out quickly. Hop fans can look for Commodore Perry IPA, Midwest IPA and Juicy Vibacious when in stock.
