Dessert & Flavored Cream

(27 products)

Flavored cream liqueur builds on a cream base with dessert flavors like strawberry, chocolate, chai, mango or horchata instead of a single spirit's character. Tequila Rose, Mozart, Somrus and Amarula are among the bottles here.

About Dessert & Flavored Cream

This shelf is where cream liqueurs act most like dessert. The base might be tequila, rum or neutral spirit, but the flavor carries the bottle: Mozart is all chocolate, Tequila Rose tastes of strawberries and cream, and Amarula gets its fruity, caramel note from the marula fruit of southern Africa.

Serve these cold. Pour over ice, shake with ice for a creamy shot, or blend with ice cream for a milkshake. A Chocolate Martini made with Mozart Chocolate Cream, vodka and a little milk is a simple after-dinner cocktail, and Tequila Rose blended with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries makes a strawberry shake for adults. Somrus Chai goes nicely in hot black tea or a latte.

Tequila Rose and 1921 Crema De Tequila show how tequila works under cream. Mozart offers dark chocolate, white chocolate strawberry and white chocolate vanilla. Somrus brings Indian-inspired chai, mango and coffee creams, and Headframe covers seasonal flavors like pumpkin spice and orange creamsicle. Amarula Fruit Cream, Licor 43 Horchata and Kahlua Sips are also here.

Dessert & Flavored Cream FAQ

What is Tequila Rose?

Tequila Rose is a pink strawberry cream liqueur made with tequila. It tastes more like strawberry milk or strawberries and cream than like tequila, which makes it popular for chilled shots and blended drinks. We carry Tequila Rose in 750ML and 1.75L. For a richer tequila cream, try 1921 Crema De Tequila.

What is the best flavored cream liqueur?

It depends on the flavor you want. Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur, from Austria, is the pick for true chocolate, Tequila Rose covers strawberries and cream, and Somrus Chai Cream Liqueur brings warm spice. For a seasonal bottle, Headframe Quarter Moon Pumpkin Spice Liqueur works well over ice or stirred into coffee.

What does Amarula taste like?

Amarula Fruit Cream tastes of caramel, vanilla and a soft, slightly citrusy fruit note from the marula fruit, which grows in southern Africa. It is lighter on spirit flavor than an Irish cream. Serve it over ice, in coffee or poured over ice cream, and keep the bottle cool.
