Flaviar
Flaviar is a spirits discovery company known for tasting sets and sample-size whiskey. The Liquor Barn carries the Flaviar Advent Calendar, a 24-day whiskey tasting set with twenty-four 1.7oz samples, one to open each day of the countdown to Christmas.
An advent calendar is the easiest way to taste a wide range of whiskey without buying two dozen full bottles. Each door holds a different dram, so you can compare styles side by side and find new favorites to buy in full size. It makes a strong holiday gift for a whiskey fan, a fun countdown to share with a partner, or a base for a home tasting night with friends. Pour each sample neat into a small glass, add a drop of water if you like, and take notes as you go. Stock is seasonal and limited, so order early in the holiday season.
