"Lecompte 5 year-old Calvados is a Pays d'Auge Calvados prepared using apples and cider obtained exclusively from the Calvados Pays d'Auge Appellation, For the 5 year-old vintage, we carefully select the fruit for its lightness and woody presence but also for its delicate and discreet structure. To achieve this, we begin its ageing process in new casks produced using a moderate degree of burning. The finishing process involves the homogenisation of the batch in large cider or Pommeau tuns." -Producer
