Berentzen

Berentzen is a German distillery with roots back to 1758, best known for fruit liqueurs made with wheat spirit and real fruit. Berentzen Apple Liqueur is 20% ABV (40 proof), and Icemint Schnapps is a 100 proof peppermint schnapps. The Liquor Barn carries Berentzen Apple, Pear, Peach, Icemint Schnapps and Bushel & Barrel, all in 750ML.

Berentzen Apple, the classic Apfelkorn, tastes like crisp green apple and is best served ice cold as a shot or mixed with ginger ale or soda. Pear (15% ABV) and Peach (20% ABV) are lighter, fruity options for spritzers and brunch drinks. Icemint is a strong, clean peppermint schnapps for winter shots or a splash in hot chocolate. Bushel & Barrel blends Kentucky straight bourbon with Berentzen apple liqueur at 60 proof and makes an easy apple Old Fashioned.
