450 North Brewing

450 North Brewing is a craft brewery in Columbus, Indiana, best known for its SLUSHY series of smoothie-style fruited sours. Most SLUSHY beers run 5% to 8% ABV. The Liquor Barn lists nine SLUSHY releases in 4-packs of 16oz cans, including SLUSHY XXL Strawberry Sativa, SLUSHY XXXL Ganja Gangsta, XL Unicorn Juice and XXL Dragon Eggs.

SLUSHY beers are fruited Berliner Weisse-style sours packed with fruit puree, so they pour thick and taste like a frozen fruit drink with a tart finish. The XL, XXL and XXXL tags show how much fruit goes in, with XXXL the most fruit-intense. XL Sour Diesel and XL Unicorn Juice are 8% ABV, while Strawberry Sativa, Gorilla Glue and Strain Variety are around 5.3%. Releases rotate fast, so grab the flavors you see. Keep them cold and drink them fresh, as fruit-heavy sours are best soon after canning. Browse more in our beer collection.
